Abstract
Three local carrot cultivars from Myanmar and two hybrid cultivars from Germany were investigated for their yield and nutritional quality supplied by mineral or organic fertilizers. Root yield and nutritional qualities were affected by cultivar difference and fertilizer types.

Foto Le Le Win Le Le Win was born on March 23, 1972 in Sagaing, Sagaing Division, Myanmar. She completed her B.Agr.Sc and M.Agr.Sc in 1996 and 2004 at the Yezin Agricultural University, Myanmar. She did her PhD degree (May 2006 - July 2010) at the Section Quality of Plant Products, Department of Crop Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture, Georg-August-University of Göttingen, Germany.
